| St George's Market - Belfast Doors Open 06:00 - 'till 13:00 The Friday Variety Market dates back to 1604. It opens at 6am every week and runs until approximately 1pm.
There are 248 market stalls selling a variety of products including: - fruit

- clothes
- fish.
- And Of Course Curry Sauces.
It is this assorted mix that attracts thousands of visitors each week. The fish section alone holds the reputation for being the leading retail fish market on the island of Ireland. |

This market, (originally in Guildhall square), has moved to allow resurfacing. Hopefully the market will return to Guildhall square for the first Saturday in May 2010.
